As you can tell by the banner above, I'm A. Jane (Hello!) and I write romance novels. (Why does that sound like I'm in a Romance Annonymous meeting?)

I'm a self-published author...

*chirp chirp* Crap crickets.

I know, I know, the dreaded self-published, but I promise, I tell a mean story and that's what matters, right? The thing is, I chose self-publishing because I wanted to write whatever and publish whenever. I've never been very good with deadlines and pressure, but I love writing.

Yes, I love writing the stories that rattle around in my head, to give voice to the characters I create (both straight and gay) and bring life to the worlds they live in. Each day (and night — I'm a bit of an insomniac) is a new adventure. I'm always curious to see how the characters will react to the situations they're placed in, to the other characters as they are introduced.

I love the Romance Genre. I love reading it and writing it. Even before I bought my very first romance novel, I would read books that had romantic elements and relationships. There's just something about Happily Ever After that warms my little soul.

I do write fantasy romance (but I suppose the banner gave me away again). One of the things I love about both the Fantasy and Paranormal subgenre of Romance is the freedom to create the most amazing worlds, characters, to allow the imagination complete control — Anything and everything is possible.

But enough of my blathering, please look around and enjoy. As my worlds develop so will this site, so check back from time to time if you like.
